Escorted Land Tours

If you choose single occupancy travel, there's a way you can always save on our escorted land tours. It's simple.
- Request to be matched with a roommate when you reserve your trip. If we find
you a match, you'll pay just the lower "double occupancy" rate for your trip.
- If, by some chance, we are unable to find you a roommate, you'll have your own
room and pay just half the Single Supplement rate for your
trip. (Note that 50% of the Single Supplement charge is billed when you reserve
you trip. If we find you a roommate, the charge will be refunded.)

Reserve one of these special dates and you'll avoid the Single Supplement
entirely. You're guaranteed the per person double

European Deluxe River Cruises

- On the Vantage Riverboats - the ms River Navigator, ms River Explorer, and ms
River Odyssey - Category B is the "Guaranteed Share Category" for all
departures. That means you're guaranteed the
per-person double-occupancy rate - whether or not we're able to match you with
a roommate.
The Lowest Single Supplements
If you'd rather have a private cabin on your Vantage European River Cruise,
you'll pay the lowest single supplement available - usually just 25% to 50%
above the double occupancy rate in category B.
Small Ship Cruises

Like our Escorted Land Tours and European Deluxe River Cruises, Vantage's Small
Ship Cruises offer Roommate Matching and Guaranteed Share Dates, as well as

Ocean Cruises
Single Shares & Specially Priced Single Supplements
- Some of the cruise lines that Vantage works with offer a limited number of
Single Share cabins for those preferring single travel. Agree to share with
another guest of the same gender, and you'll pay only the per person double
occupancy rate - guaranteed. Vantage will also try to find you a roommate for any FREE or included land
stays that accompany your cruise.
- Prefer your own cabin? Take advantage of our competitive Single Supplements.
Travel solo at a substantial savings off the retail cruiseline
rate. Note that a few cruise lines also offer a limited number of single cabins
at a single rate. Your Vantage Sales Representative can tell you if any are
available for the cruise of your choice.
Please Keep in Mind ...
You'll want to be aware of a few things regarding Roommate Matching programs
that apply to all types of Vantage tours and cruises:
- Participants in our exclusive Roommate Matching Program will be notified of
their roommate's identity prior to departure
- Participants in any of our Guaranteed Share Programs, as well as Roommate
Matching Programs on ocean cruises, will meet their roommates on tour
- If for some reason you should choose to cancel your share program on tour
(based on room availability), single supplement charges will apply
- Full single supplements apply to any optional extensions or overnight
excursions unless matched with a roommate
