The following hotel list is preliminary and subject to change. Although we contract our hotels a year in advance, unforeseen situations do occasionally occur. Should it be necessary to change a hotel, one of equal quality and value will be substituted. You will receive verified hotel information with your final itinerary. Please note that hotel ratings are based on the Hotel and Travel Index (www.hotelandtravelindex.com), a leading travel industry authority on hotels throughout the world. Some of the hotels on this trip are unrated, but each hotel has been selected and inspected by Vantage and meet our quality requirements.

Accommodations at the Protea Hotel Fürstenhof in Windhoek, at the Swakopmund Guest House, and at the Le Mirage Desert Lodge & Spa and Casino in Sossusvlei are only included as part of the optional post-trip extension in Namibia.

Chobe Safari Lodge

The eco-friendly Chobe Safari Lodge, which blends in with its surroundings, is located in the north of Botswana at Chobe National Park, famed for its huge elephant and buffalo herds and home to countless predators and birdlife. Vantage guests stay in the “Safari Rooms,” the newest additions to the lodge. They are individually decorated and offer every comfort. Protea Hotel Kruger Gate

The Protea Kruger Gate offers a splendid location, just 100 yards from the Protea Kruger Gate to Kruger National Park. Hotel facilities include restaurant and pool deck bar overlooking the Sable River, pool, miniature golf, tennis court, volleyball, and table tennis. Guest rooms have satellite TV, minibar stocked on request, tea and coffee making facilities, digital safety deposit box, individually controlled air conditioning, and private bath with hair dryer.

Swakopmund Guest House

The newly renovated Swakopmund Guest House offers a comfortable stay-over close to the ocean with bright, spacious rooms. This relaxing, beach-themed bed and breakfast is a five-minute walk from the beach and main shopping area. Your room features a TV, mini-bar, safe, coffe/tea station, and private bath. The Swakopmund Guest House includes a breakfast room, lounge area, and internet connection.

Sossusvlei Lodge

Sossusvlei, Namibia  

The eco-friendly Sossusvlei Lodge is located in the splendid Namib Desert near Naukhluft Park. Lodge amenities include a restaurant, lounge, terrace, pool, observation tower, and laundry services. Guest rooms are traditionally appointed with tented walls and roof, slate floors, verandah, in-room safe, brick-built bathroom and lobby area.
