Depart Home / Vancouver, British Columbia
Your explorations of our neighbor to the north begin when you fly to beautiful Vancouver and transfer to the grand Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver in the heart of the city. Vancouver offers the best of both worlds — cosmopolitan attractions set against a splendid backdrop of snowy mountain peaks and glittering Pacific inlets. On the next day’s panoramic tour, you’ll see the city’s Chinatown, one of the largest and most vibrant in North America, as well as Stanley Park and Gastown, a restored 19th-century business district replete with boutiques, restaurants, bars, and art galleries. At the world-famous Capilano Bridge, you’ll see a demonstration of “First Nation” totem pole carving, as well as dance and singing. At the exciting new Treetops exhibit, you’ll have the opportunity to ascend to the heights of Douglas Fir trees for a “squirrel’s-eye view” of the ecology of a West Coast rainforest. Then, enjoy a Welcome Dinner this evening.
