Depart Home / Bergen, Norway
Your experience of “the world’s most unspoiled travel destination” begins with your included overnight flight to Bergen, Norway. After you arrive on Day 2, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, which is centrally located in Bergen.

Bergen
Bergen is the bustling capital of Norway’s fjord district. Centuries ago, the city thrived as a trading center between northern Scandinavia and the rest of Europe. After breakfast, enjoy an informative briefing about your trip. On this morning’s included city tour, you’ll stroll the Bryggen Wharf area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your sightseeing also includes a panoramic tour of this red-roofed city. Plus, you will visit Troldhaugen, the former summer home of Edvard Grieg, Norway’s most beloved composer. It is one of the great tourist attractions of Norway. Following your tour, you’ll have the afternoon to enjoy Bergen on your own. If you like, your Program Manager will be happy to suggest options for sightseeing, shopping, and dining.

Bergen / Embark Norwegian Coastal Voyage Vessel
Enjoy a free morning in Bergen, or don't miss the optional tour "Old & New Norway." Later, you will embark your Hurigruten ship. Get settled, then enjoy your first dinner aboard ship as you cast off. Before you return to Bergen, you’ll have viewed awe-inspiring scenery, crossed the Arctic Circle to “the top of Europe,” and called at numerous ports, from fishing villages to towns above the Arctic Circle.

Maloy / Torvik / Alesund / Molde / Kristiansund
When you awake, you’ll be crossing the Stadthavet enroute to Torvik. On the way, you’ll first visit the Art Nouveau town of Alesund. After your next stop in the the town of Molde — with a magnificent view of the Romsdal Alps — you’ll cross Hustadvika to Kristiansund.

Trondheim / Rorvik
Upon our early arrival in Trondheim, you'll start with a short port of call walking tour. You’ll then have time to explore this medieval jewel, perhaps strolling the charming streets, relaxing by the harbor, or crossing the old city bridge to the restored Bakklandet area. Departing Trondheim, sail past rocky islands to Rorvik.

Ornes / Bodo / Stamsund / Svolvaer
You'll cross the Arctic Circle today into the land of the Northern Lights. Passing the mighty Borvass Mountains, your ship sails into Bodo before crossing Vestfjord in the direction of the Lofoten Islands and the villages of Stamsund and Svolvaer. In Bodo, join your Program Manager on a port of call orientation walking tour. In the evening, continue north through Raftsund Strait, past majestic Trollfjord.

Harstad / Finnsnes / Tromso / Skjervoy
Enjoy the view as your ship sails north past a chain of islands to Harstad. Next, you will arrive in Finnsnes, where you will take an orientation walking tour. You’ll pass through Vagsfjord and Malangen before arriving at Tromso, the “capital” of Arctic Norway. You’ll enjoy an included Arctic Capital and Museum Tour, before casting off to cross Lopphavet.

Hammerfest / Havoysund / Honningsvag / Kjollefjord / Mehamn / Berlevag
During your cruise along the coast of Finnmark, Norway’s northernmost region, you’ll call at quiet fishing villages from days gone by and as modern fishing ports bustling with activity. Your ship will call at Havoysund and Honningsvag before heading toward the fishing villages of Kjollefjord, Mehamn, and Berlevag. In Honningsvag, you'll enjoy an included "North Cape Tour."

Kirkenes / Vardo / Batsfjord / Berlevag
Early on Day 10, you’ll arrive at Kirkenes, your voyage’s turning point. Here, you'll enjoy an included Russian Border Tour. After a few hours docked, the ship will depart upon the second half of its voyage. During your southbound journey, you’ll make daytime calls at ports passed at night on the trip northward. Crossing Varangerfjord, you’ll arrive in Vardo, easternmost point in Norway. The ship then rounds the Varanger Peninsula, arriving in Batsfjord and Berlevag in the evening.

Honningsvag / Havoysund / Hammerfest / Oksfjord / Skjervoy / Tromso
After early calls at Honningsvag and Havoysund, the ship will stop in Hammerfest for a short walking tour. You’ll then head south across Soroysund to Oksfjord, arriving at Skjervoy. Next, you'll cruise South to Tromso, arriving at midnight.

Harstad / Risoyhamn / Sortland / Stokmarknes / Svolvaer / Stamsund
The island groups of Lofoten and Vesteralen have some of the most stunning scenery on the journey. Today, you'll also enjoy the "A Taste of Vesteralen" tour. You’ll pass through the narrow Raftsund Strait leading into the breathtaking Trollfjord before arriving in Svolvaer and Stamsund. Ship stops at Stamsund for the evening.

Ornes / Nesna / Sandnessjoen / Bronnoysund / Rorvik
After leaving Ornes, we sail through narrow straits bordered by lush farm fields. After crossing southward over the Arctic Circle, you’ll pass mythical Seven Sisters Mountains on the approach to Bronnoysund. Enjoy port of call walking tours in Sandnessjoen and Bronnoysund. Today’s last port of call is Rorvik.

Trondheim / Kristiansund / Molde / Alesund
We arrive in Trondheim early — where you'll enjoy an included tour and visit to Norway’s largest medieval church, Nidaros Cathedral. The ship then cruises through the beautiful Trondheimsfjord, past the islands of Grip and Hitra, to Kristiansund. At day’s end, you’ll call at Molde, then finally Alesund.

Torvik / Maloy / Floro / Bergen / Disembark ship
During the night, the ship calls at Torvik, Maloy, and Floro. The World’s Most Beautiful Voyage is drawing to a close, but still ahead lies spectacular west Norway scenery, including the lovely archipelago on the approach to Bergen. Then all too soon, it’s time to disembark this afternoon. From the port, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
