Begin your “Presidential” journey with an included overnight flight to Tahiti, where you’ll be welcomed with the traditional lei greeting of the South Seas, then transferred to the deluxe resort where you’ll spend two delightful nights before your cruise. Today, after a relaxing morning, enjoy a fascinating and informative half-day tour Tahiti Island tour. For a closer look at life in Tahiti, go on a walking tour of a local market. Afterwards, embark the m/s Paul Gauguin. You’ll enjoy your first dinner on board this evening, before we set sail on our 14-night cruise.

Rarotongans are very committed to the conservation of their island paradise. You’ll have the opportunity to see some of the Cook Islands Natural Heritage Project’s efforts to protect native flora and fauna when you follow an ancient pathway to the interior of the island. Or join a conservation tour to search the rain forest for the elusive Kakerori bird!
