Motu Mahana (Taha’a) is a South Seas paradise with white sand beaches, swaying palms, and crystal-clear waters. Spend a full day exploring this idyllic, isolated island, and relaxing with a delicious barbecue lunch and Polynesian entertainment.

Pulitzer Prize-winning author James Michener declared Bora Bora “the most beautiful island in the world.” You’ll surely agree! The ship arrives in the morning and will remain until late afternoon, giving you a full day in this Pacific paradise.

Aitutaki’s natural beauty is spectacular. Coconut, pineapple, banana, and tapioca plantations are sprinkled throughout the island. Bask in the sun and enjoy views of the shimmering lagoon during a boat cruise and beach visit. Or venture to a nearby marine reserve for some snorkeling.

Rarotongans are very committed to the conservation of their island paradise. You’ll have the opportunity to see some of the Cook Islands Natural Heritage Project’s efforts to protect native flora and fauna when you follow an ancient pathway to the interior of the island. Or join a conservation tour to search the rain forest for the elusive Kakerori bird!

Another day to enjoy Paul Gauguin’s Polynesian ambiance: casual, leisurely and graceful. You can take in a lecture on local wildlife or history, and relax in the evening over classic French cuisine.

As we cruise, we’ll cross the International Dateline, losing a day on the way.

Vava’u is formed from coral reefs which have risen hundreds of feet above sea level. Discover the magnificent waters off this isolated island. The lagoon is so clear that you can see the ocean floor at a depth of 131 feet. Swim to Swallows Cave, or discover the calm waterways by sea kayak.

A day to discover Suva, the capital of Fiji. Perhaps you’ll explore the quaint wooden bungalows of the city’s old section or the modern delights of the shopping plazas.

Enjoy beautiful Malolo, a volcanic island that rises just a few feet above sea level. Phenomenal snorkeling abounds. Then we sail for Lautoka, arriving this evening and overnighting on board.
