Today is free to explore the beautiful city of Stockholm.  The city is spread over 24,000 islets and laced with numerous waterways and is proud of its stunning location.  Over 30% of the city is made up of waterways, while another 30% is made up of parks and open green spaces, giving Stockholm a wonderfully fresh feel.  The Old Town (Gamla Stan), which was preserved during World War II by Sweden’s neutrality, is the epicenter of the city, with countless narrow streets, restaurants, shops and bars.  Like Oslo, there are many things to see in the city, including Skansen, an open air museum and cultural-history park, and The Vasa Museum, where you can see the preserved remains of a rigged warship from the seventeenth century.  Dinner on own, evening at leisure.
