Sophisticated yet youthful, Old World and ultra-modern, Amsterdam has something for everyone! There’s over 40 museums to discover, ranging from the Dutch Masters to contemporary design. Take a peek inside the stately Renaissance-era homes (the Dutch leave their curtains open) and you’ll glimpse modern interiors and sleek designs.
On your included canal tour, you’ll slip under graceful bridges, passing both grand hotels and house boats, BMWs and bicycles. Your tour also includes entrance to the world-class Rijksmuseum, the Dutch answer to the Louvre.
You’ll also have free time to explore at your own pace or take advantage of our optional tours, such as a visit to the Van Gogh Museum and a historic canal house, or an excursion to the Aalsmeer Flower Market and the traditional Dutch towns of Zaanse Schanse and Edam.

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel before a morning canal cruise of
Amsterdam, including visits to the Rijksmuseum and one of Amsterdam’s
oldest diamond-cutting workshops. The afternoon and evening are at
leisure.

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel and the morning at leisure; or
you can choose to join an optional excursion to Zaanse Schans &
Edam and Aalsmeer Flower Market (if available). Later, transfer to the
pier to embark your Vantage Deluxe river cruise ship on Day 2 of the
regular program.

Located on the northeastern shore of Lake Geneva, Montreux is world renowned for its mild climate and charming scenery. This famous resort also boasts historic architecture, picturesque lanes, and exclusive shopping boutiques. Here, you can see the chateau that inspired Lord Byron’s Prisoner of Chillon. Indeed, the Chateau of Chillon is Montreux’s most famous landmark, providing marvelous views of the entire Lake of Geneva.
Montreux is also a musical mecca, playing host to the annual Montreux Jazz Festival since 1967, and is also home to Mountain Studios, previously owned by the famous rock band Queen. In fact, the main square of the town, Place du Marché, features a statue of Queen’s late lead singer, Freddie Mercury, that faces Lake Geneva.
During your visit you’ll enjoy a walking tour of the city, plus you can join an optional excursion to the quaint village of Gruyere, including a visit to a gruyere cheese making factory.
