If you book the Budapest-to-Nuremberg base itinerary, you may choose to extend your stay with the optional Budapest extension before beginning your cruisetour. You will leave your U.S. gateway on an overnight flight to Budapest and transfer to your Superior First-Class hotel the next day, and begin enjoying the activities that this extension offers the next morning. At the conclusion of your stay in Budapest, you will check out of your hotel and transfer to your Deluxe Vantage River Cruise ship on Day 2 of the the base program.

If you book the Nuremberg-to-Budapest base itinerary, you may choose to extend your stay with the optional Budapest extension after completing your cruisetour. You will transfer from your Deluxe Vantage River Cruise ship to your Superior First-Class hotel. At the conclusion of your stay in Budapest, you will transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight back to your U.S. gateway.

On your included half-day tour, you’ll walk Prague’s Old Town and the Jewish Quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll see the Old Town Hall’s famous astronomical Clock, the Powder Tower, Charles Bridge, and visit the Old Jewish Cemetery. You’ll also take an included excursion to Pilsen to tour a brewery.

Optional tours include a panoramic drive around Prague and a walking tour of the Prague Castle complex, a diverse collection of buildings dating from the 10th to the 20th century. The former seat of power of medieval kings, the complex also contains the current residence of the current Czech President.
