Enriched Sightseeing with Our State-of-the-Art Headset Program!
Learning about the places you visit is one of the nicest things about a Vantage luxury river cruise. And because you'll be offered a state-of-the-art audio headset for every included tour, you'll easily hear the many interesting facts, customs, and legends recounted by your English-fluent guides.
Here's how it works:
When you depart ship for a walking tour of, say, a medieval town on the Rhine, just slip on the lightweight headphones and the small receiver that hangs from a lanyard. Your tour guide, in turn, wears a portable microphone and transmitter. Then, when he or she tells you about the legend of an old castle, or points out the unique architecture surrounding a town square, you'll pick up every word ... even if you're standing in the back of your group or have lagged behind for a closer look at some interesting detail. You'll especially appreciate them in churches or museums where your guide must speak softly — every word will be as clear as a bell. We introduced the headsets several years ago to rave reviews — so now we've expanded the program to include all Vantage vessels.
