Inspired Cuisine — Every Day of Your Trip
Whether you're dining on continental fare in your hotel's restaurant; a home-hosted Israeli meal; or a breakfast buffet with fresh produce, cheeses, and baked goods, mealtime is an experience to be savored. Special meals are featured during your journey, including lunch in a Druze village, a traditional Shabbat dinner with an Israeli family, and a special Bedouin Farewell Dinner. Most meals are included in your adventure, but you will have other chances to sample local cuisine during your free time. Your Adventure Leader will be happy to suggest wonderful options.
Healthy Choices at Every Meal
Like most Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, the food in Israel and Jordan is wholesome and fresh, and largely based on produce, greens, whole grains, and lean meat. Our hosts are happy to accommodate special dietary requests, such as kosher, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-intolerant, and allergy-specific concerns, provided your requests are received at the time of booking. Please be aware that in Israel and Jordan, you may not always find the variety of special diet options that you would in the U.S.
