The following hotel list is preliminary and subject to change. Although we contract our hotels a year in advance, unforeseen situations do occasionally occur. Should it be necessary to change a hotel, one of equal quality and value will be substituted. You will receive verified hotel information with your final itinerary. Please note that hotel ratings are based on the Hotel and Travel Index (www.hotelandtravelindex.com), a leading travel industry authority on hotels throughout the world.

This region is relatively new to Western tourism and not all hotels are yet rated by the Hotel & Travel Index. However, all hotels have been personally selected and inspected by Vantage staff.

Grand Hotel Toplice

Lake Bled, Slovenia  

Situated on the shore of spectacular Lake Bled, the First-Class Grand Hotel Toplice is a classic European spa hotel from the late 1800s (“toplice” means “spa” in Slovenian). It has been recently restored to its earlier grandeur, with up-to-date amenities. All guest rooms have a balcony, direct-dial telephone, cable TV, and private bathroom. Hotel features include several excellent restaurants, an elegant American-style bar and lounge, and a natural, thermal-spring indoor pool surrounded by columns. Other spa features include sauna, massage, solarium, and gym.

Sheraton Zagreb Hotel

The First-Class Sheraton Zagreb Hotel is a modern facility conveniently located in the heart of the city, close to major historical attractions, elegant shops, delightful parks, tree-lined streets, and open spaces. The hotel offers two restaurants, cafe, room service, business center, concierge services, currency exchange, safe deposit box, barber/hair stylist, laundry/dry cleaning, gift shop, and health club. Guest rooms have air conditioning, cable/satellite TV, radio/alarm clock, two-line phone with voicemail and data port, minibar, and private bathroom with hair dryer and robes.

Hotel Ivan

Sibenik, Croatia  

The Hotel Ivan is part of the Solaris Holiday Resort, a beachside spa complex consisting of several Moderate First-Class hotels, campgrounds, and a marina located on the Adriatic Coast close to the historic town of Sibenik. The Complex features restaurants, terrace bars, pools, sauna, tennis, and marine activities. Guest rooms feature a balcony, satellite TV, telephone, and private bath with hair dryer.

Dubrovnik, Croatia  

The Moderate Deluxe Excelsior Hotel overlooks the sea from a clifftop, with exceptional views over the Old Town and the Island of Lokrum. The Hotel Montenegro, situated right on the beach, is a comfortable 4-star resort hotel, renovated in 2004 and offering excellent facilities. Hotel facilities include three restaurants, lounge, room service, business center, beauty salon, two outdoor and one indoor swimming pool, and fitness center with two Jacuzzis and Turkish steam bath. The well-appointed guest rooms all have climate control, balcony, cable TV, clock, and private bath.
