 The ms River Explorer was launched to much acclaim in 2001. The lounge and dining room are airy and light, with floor to ceiling windows for watching the passing scenery. Each stateroom features a color TV with in-room movies and CNN, telephone, private bath with shower, hair dryer, and a PIN-coded safe. Deluxe Suites are 225 square feet, with a 32" LCD flat screen TV, a DVD player, minibar, coffee/tea maker, phone, sitting area, and more. Smoking is limited to a designated area on the open-air Solaris Deck and is not permitted indoors. Public areas are limited, and do not feature lounges for entertainment or casinos.
