Afternoon panoramic city tour of Santiago. Heading through the downtown
area, you’ll pass the Club Hipico, a beautiful horseracing track, and
then proceed alongside the Parque O’Higgins and the Cousino Palace
(built between 1870 and 1878 for the wealthy Cousino family). From here
you’ll head along the famous Almeda, Santiago’s colorful main avenue,
to the heart of the city. You’ll visit the Plaza de Armas and the
cathedral. Afterwards you’ll reach the picturesque Santa
Lucia hill, site of Santiago’s foundation in 1541 for a view of the
scenic downtown area

Transfer to the hotel with panoramic city tour of Rio en route.
Downtown is the business heart of Rio; passing through Rio Branco
Avenue, you’ll see the Candelaria Church, the headquarters for major
Brazilian banks and commercial enterprises, the Opera House (Teatro
Municipal), and the Carioca Square, church of Santo Antonio built in
the 17th century. Proceeding, you’ll see Rio’s aqueduct built in the
18th century being used now to connect downtown to Santa Teresa
district. Afterwards you’ll drive through one of the tour highlights:
the Flamengo Park from where you have the chance to see Sugar Loaf
