 Glacier National Park Optional Pre-Extension

On select departure dates you’ll have the opportunity to add a seventh National Park to your trip — Glacier National Park. Marvel at this unspoiled domain of alpine scenery, with deep glacier-carved valleys, jagged snow-capped peaks, and cascading waterfalls. You’ll also take a scenic drive through the wide-open spaces of western Montana, spending the night in Great Falls and visiting the Lewis & Clark Historic Center, plus Helena, the state capital.

- 3 nights accommodations: 2 nights Kalispell, Montana at the Hilton Garden Inn Kalispell, 1 night in Great Falls, Montana at the Hampton Inn Great Falls

This extension is only available on the June 27, July 18, and August 15, 2008 departures. These dates reflect the day you will begin your tour in Kalispell.
Please note: Roads within Glacier National Park often remain closed due to deep snowfall until late spring, which means this optional extension can only be offered on select departure dates.

Full day tour of Glacier National Park, including Lake McDonald, Logan Pass, and an afternoon ride over Going-to-the-Sun Road in a historic red “Jammer” touring vehicle. Evening at leisure.

Scenic drive to Great Falls, Montana. Visit the Lewis & Clark National Historic Interpretive Center and the C.M. Russell Museum. Check into the hotel. Evening at leisure.

Transfer to Bozeman, Montana with a stop enroute in Helena, Montana, for a visit to the State Capitol Building. Lunch is included today. Continue to Bozeman, where you’ll join Day 1 of the base program. (B,L)
