Today you’ll board an overnight flight to Hungary’s fascinating capital Budapest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll arrive on Day 2.

Upon arrival, a Vantage associate will meet you at the airport and assist in the transfer to your hotel. Have lunch on your own and later embark on an Orientation Walk to familiarize yourself with the city. Tonight, meet your fellow travelers at a Welcome Briefing and cocktail party, to be followed by a Welcome Dinner at the hotel.

Following breakfast at the hotel this morning, embark on a guided tour exploring the city’s Jewish heritage, including a stop at the stunning Great Synagogue (Dohány Street Synagogue). With one of the largest Jewish communities in the middle of eastern Europe, you’ll find that Budapest’s Jewish Quarter is filled with historic and artistic gems.
Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to shop Budapest’s Christmas Market, or head to visit a famous confectioner. Maybe you’ll do some window shopping on Váci Utca, the pedestrian shopping zone, as well. Dinner is on your own, followed by a pub crawl with your City Host.

Budapest is also renowned for its famous hot springs and thermal baths, a tradition dating back to the Romans.
