A small ship journey in Antarctica is more than a feast for your eyes — your taste buds will relish Norwegian-style feast of traditional fare aboard the ms Fram. You can look forward to daily breakfast and lunch buffets offering a variety of choices. Dinners are generally a set menu — featuring fish dishes and alternative meat dishes with daily vegetable selections. You may have the option of substituting the main course on the menu for pasta, soup, or a sandwich. In addition to your meals on board, hot and cold drinks, and snacks are available all day. While most meals are included in your journey, your land stays in Montevideo and Buenos Aires will give you an opportunity to go out on your own and sample South American cuisine at a local restaurant. Your Adventure Leader can recommend restaurants that you may want to try.
With so many of your meals included as part of your Antarctica cruise, you'll have ample opportunity to sample the best of regional cuisine. But along with the international fare, you'll also find many American favorites.
