Thanks to the small size of the Ocean Explorer, you’ll have daily opportunities for expeditions by Zodiac boat and scenic cruising in Antarctica (weather permitting):

  • Landfall expeditions last for a few hours and may include sightseeing, light hiking and/or walking surveys, wildlife encounters, free time to explore, and other spontaneous activities
  • Potential landing sites include Cuverville Island, Half Moon Island, Neko Harbor, Port Lockroy, Deception Island, and others
  • Scenic cruising locations will be determined by the local conditions
