What to Expect
You’ll visit 7 countries in 14 nights, with 10 nights on the Ocean Explorer,
and two-nights hotel stays in Stockholm and Copenhagen
This is a comprehensive itinerary, but well balanced between moderate walking to light activities. Sightseeing is done via air-conditioned coaches with regional experts. There may be some uneven roads or terrain, especially in more rural areas or at historical sites. You should be comfortable walking longer distances on uneven terrain, as well as some uphill walking.
The remarkable medieval architecture, magnificent art, folklore traditions, and seaside culture make the Baltic region a truly rewarding destination. Several of the countries we visit rank high on the “happiness” scale, so you’re sure to be met with warm smiles. English is spoken in many of our destinations and many people will be happy to have a conversation with you.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Dress on tour is generally casual. Gentlemen may wish to bring a sport jacket. Your travel wardrobe should be planned according to the climate of the areas you will be visiting and the length of your stay. Average high and low temperatures for the destinations visited on each Vantage Tour are listed under "Climate." A HELPFUL HINT — plan to avail yourself of the laundry and valet services available at an additional fee. Weather is never predictable so be sure to be prepared for just about anything. You'll want to take along a sweater or warm jacket. It's a good idea to dress in layers, which will allow you to adjust to changes in temperature.
ONBOARD INTERNET AVAILABILITY:
While cruising, the Internet connectivity may be limited or unavailable depending on ship location, signal availability, and volume of onboard usage. Internet connectivity will be normal when at docking locations.
