Enjoy a morning at leisure today, perhaps to further explore the highlights of fascinating Reykjavík — from the striking architecture that peppers its streets to the various public art installations that adorn the waterfront. Lunch is on your own before it’s time to visit one of the city’s top attractions: the Blue Lagoon. Take in your spectacular surroundings while basking in these famous warm, milky-blue waters, the perfect rejuvenating ritual. Dinner is on your own tonight.
Enjoy a day at leisure in Reykjavík to explore as you please
You’ll have an entire day at leisure to explore more of this small but impactful city. If you plan ahead, utilize our worldwide Concierge service to coordinate any activities in the area, or get to them on your own today. Some recommendations include a visit to the Reykjavík Art Museum and National Gallery, or visit Laugavegur Street, the city’s premiere thoroughfare for shopping. Tonight, you’ll join Day 2 of the base tour and meet other expeditioners at a Welcome Reception.
