Between the months of May and October, up to 13 different species of whale can be spotted making their way upriver from the Atlantic Ocean. Once a spot heavily trafficked by hunters, today this region is a protected environment for these extraordinary creatures. We’ll embark on a walking tour of Old Montréal with a visit to the Notre Dame Basilica, one of the crown jewels in Quebec's rich religious heritage. Then, a scenic drive takes us from Montréal’s downtown district to the top of Mont Royal for commanding views of the city and the St. Lawrence River.
