What to Expect
Easy activity level
Familiar Cultural Immersion
PACING: Your Canadian Maritimes cruise includes 6 Canadian cities and 1 U.S. city in 12 days with 10 nights' accommodation aboard the 4-star plus MV Victory II, plus 1 nights' accommodations at the Halifax Marriott Harborview (or similar) in Nova Scotia.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: Most onshore sightseeing during your will be on air-conditioned coaches with guides, along with sightseeing boat tours in Niagara Falls and Tadoussac. Walking is easy on flat, often paved surfaces.

CULTURAL FOCUS: Focus is on the cultures and traditions of the different groups of hardy people who settled along the rugged Canadian Maritimes. You'll experience the unique French-Canadian culture of Québec and Montréal, explore British-influenced Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Your tours of such regions as Prince Edward Island's serene North Shore and Québec's remote Gaspé Peninsula will give you an appreciation for the skills it took to earn a living from these scenic lands.

WHAT TO PACK: We suggest warm, casual clothing with good walking shoes. Weather is never predictable, so be sure to be prepared for just about anything. You'll want to take along a sweater or jacket for cool evenings, even in the summer months. It's a good idea to dress in layers, which will allow you to adjust to changes in temperature with the changes in elevation.

Please Note: The above day-by-day itineraries and hotels are preliminary and subject to change. If itinerary modifications occur on tour, you will be notified by your Vantage Adventure Leader or regional expert. Although we contract our hotels a year in advance, unforeseen situations do occasionally occur. Should it be necessary to change a hotel, one of equal quality and value will be substituted. You will receive verified hotel information with your Travel Documents. Hotel ratings are based on what is provided by the hotel, our local experts, and a leading travel industry authority on hotels throughout the world.
