Fed by the waters of the glaciers of Jasper National Park, this stunning lake is the perfect place to observe the surrounding scenery and wildlife. As we cruise, you'll enjoy the stories of our onboard tour guide regarding the history of the lake and its earliest explorers, along with the geology, glaciology, flora, and fauna of the area. Our cruise docks at Spirit Island, a world-famous destination on accessible by boat, where we'll disembark and set off on a short nature walk for fantastic photo opportunities.
Icefields Parkway - Journey through the scenic stretch of land that connects Banff and Jasper national parks, soaking in views of majestic peaks, ice-blue glaciers, and thick pine forests. Along the way, you’ll make a number of sightseeing stops - at the picturesque Athabasca Falls, the awe-inspiring Glacier Skywalk, and the Columbia Icefield Centre. Then, embark on a special snow coach ride over the 900-foot-thick Athabasca Glacier, where you’ll get an incredible close-up look at this frozen natural wonder.
Yoho National Park - Relish the dazzling panoramas of Yoho National Park, where emerald lakes reflect the regal peaks soaring above them. We’ll stay at a delightful lodge perched on the edge of the gorgeous Emerald Lake, perfect for enjoying the scenery. You’ll enjoy a balance of free time to explore the area’s assortment of recreational and sightseeing opportunities, from fly-fishing and kayaking to simply relaxing and enjoying the rustic elegance of our hotel.
Lake Louise - As we travel the Continental Divide towards Banff National Park, we’ll stop to admire magnificent Lake Louise. Known as the “Jewel of the Rockies” for its spectacular turquoise color, this lovely glacier-fed lake, surrounded by grand glaciers and chiseled mountains, is one of Canada’s grandest natural spectacles. We’ll also enjoy an included lunch at the celebrated Post Hotel.
Banff National Park - Enjoy incredible aerial views of Banff as we embark on a gondola ride up Sulpher Mountain, where you'll take in jaw-dropping views of the surrounding Rockies from the observation deck at the top. We'll also drive along Tunnel Mountain Drive for unforgettable views of Banff, Cascade Mountain, Mount Rundle, and Bow Falls.
