Your National Parks and Monuments adventure begins when you arrive in Jackson Hole, a scenic valley town in Wyoming. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by a Vantage Representative, who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Multigenerational Feature: This evening, start your adventure right as you join your spouse, friends, and family for a lively Western dinner show at the Jackson Hole Playhouse.
Take a float trip down the Snake River, then hear tales of the Old West
Today finds us on the banks of the grandiose Snake River amidst rolling plains and rugged mountains. Multigenerational Feature & Unforgettable Moment: We’ll embark on a remarkable river float trip from Wilson Bridge to South Park, the perfect way to truly appreciating the region's stunning natural resources with your loved ones. As you float, watch for pelicans, bald eagles, beavers, moose, or other wildlife native to this area. We’ll return to the hotel later this afternoon, where you’ll have free time to relax and further explore Jackson Hole's unique spread of restaurants, shops, and museums. Multigenerational Feature & Cultural Discovery: This evening, kids and grandkids will delight in a fascinating talk given by Ken Thomasma, Old West expert and author, regarding Sacajawea and her journey with Lewis & Clark.
Exploring the wilds of Yellowstone, with a visit to Old Faithful
This morning’s drive from the valley of Jackson Hole to the high plateau of Yellowstone is filled with magnificent views of the soaring Teton Range. We’ll begin our explorations of Yellowstone National Park from the south gate. The world’s first national park, Yellowstone is a wilderness of craggy peaks, alpine lakes, stunning canyons, and a huge variety of wildlife. Our main sightseeing stop in the park is a grand one: Old Faithful. With its roaring plume of steam and boiling water, this natural highlight never fails to inspire awe. Later, we’ll head to the town of West Yellowstone for an evening of leisure.
Cowboy comforts: wildlife, hot springs, and a steak dinner
Today is a day of astounding discoveries. Unforgettable Moment: Following breakfast, we'll head over to a wildlife discovery center, where kids will get a kick out of coming face-to-face with some of the area’s most regal residents: grizzly bears and grey wolves. Cultural Discovery: Later, we make our way through Yellowstone, stopping to savor serene park views during a picnic lunch. Our next destination is Mammoth Hot Springs, where we’ll stop and explore the complexity of these beautiful terraces before continuing to our hotel.
Following Buffalo Bill’s footsteps in Cody
We’ll travel through the remarkable landscapes of Yellowstone Canyon this morning as we exit the park from the east gate, completing our scenic circle of Yellowstone. Our next destination is Cody, a charming Western town named after William Fredrick Cody (better known to the American West as Buffalo Bill). Here, you’ll have time to explore the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, an impressive collection of five museums, before enjoying a chuckwagon-style dinner at our hotel. Multigenerational Feature & Cultural Discovery: Tonight, channel your inner cowboy as you watch bull riding, barrel racing, and other activities at Cody’s nightly action-packed rodeo, the perfect adventure to share with your spouse, friends, and family!

An afternoon of activities at historic Ucross Ranch
Gorgeous views of Shell Creek Canyon and the Shell Falls decorate our windows this morning as our deluxe motorcoach heads toward Buffalo. Cultural Discovery & Active Feature: The afternoon will be spent at the historical Ucross Ranch, where you can customize your time at this sprawling estate with a myriad of available activities, including hiking and horseback riding. After an included lunch on the beautiful grounds, we’ll continue to Gillette; upon arrival, your evening is at leisure.

Sightseeing spectacular — Deadwood to Mount Rushmore
Today is a monumental day for sightseeing. We’ll begin the day with a visit to Devils Tower, declared the first U.S. national monument by Franklin D. Roosevelt, before stopping for lunch in the historic town of Deadwood. Known as the wildest town in the West, this town is the final resting place of several notable legends, including Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. Later, we’ll tour the Crazy Horse memorial before arriving in Keystone late this afternoon. Our Farewell Dinner tonight honors the delicious Wild West tradition of prime rib and mashed potatoes. Multigenerational Feature: After dinner, witness the lighting of spectacular Mount Rushmore, a must-see for American history lovers. Solo travelers and family groups alike will get a rush from observing this famous monument in person.
