Activities & Entertainment
This trip is rated Moderate
Almost all sightseeing is on an air-conditioned coach with rest stops, lunch stops, and photo stops en route. Some stair-climbing may be required to get better views. You will experience high altitudes (up to 9,000 feet) on this U.S. National Parks tour, which may affect breathing. Temperatures are at their highest in July and August, but it is a dry heat, and tours will take place at the cooler time of the day.
Get Out & Get Active
During the course of your journey, opportunities abound for getting out on independent walks, hikes, birdwatching, and other activities, particularly in the National Parks.
