Biking in South America
Our Adventure Leaders have suggested a few locations where you may have free time during your South America vacation to enjoy safe and easy bike rides. In Chile, Santiago boasts about 100 miles of relatively flat bike paths, many of them protected greenways. Then there’s Buenos Aires, a city that has recently invested in developing more than 60 miles of bike lanes (ciclovías or bicisendas ) that weave among the city’s leafy avenues and parks.
