Enrique Virto
Peruvian-born Enrique has been to all seven continents and 50 countries. “I love to travel — I like to change weather, geography, terrains,” he says. “Traveling is feeling existence in-depth.” He studied history in Peru, philosophy in France, German in Germany, and obtained a license from tourism from the University of Peru. Travelers respond to Enrique’s zest for life and sense of humor. When you’re traveling with Enrique, look forward to “interacting with the locals, tasting typical food and drinks, listening to local music, and learning the spirit and philosophy of each place.” He adds, “We forget some information about the places we visit, but the things I mentioned before stay with the traveler.”
Leylys Gutierrez
From Cusco, Peru, Leylys has also lived in Ecuador and Bolivia. He speaks English, Spanish, and Quechua (an indigenous language spoken by the Quechua peoples primarily living in the Peruvian Andes). Leylys feels like an ambassador of his civilization, and says that his homeland and family were great influences on his decision to become a guide. “I was born and raised in the highlands of Cusco and Puno (Southern Andes of Peru), so I was exposed to such an amazing knowledge from my ancestors. I was so proud of it... I soaked up all that wisdom and wanted to share it with everybody!”

During your 4‐night cruise, in addition to your Vantage Adventure Leader and the ship's capable staff, you'll be accompanied by Galapagos National Park certified naturalists. These experts will lead shore excursions, offer informative discussions about the islands' unique flora and fauna, point out birds and wildlife, help you find the best snorkeling, and generally reveal the many natural wonders of this unique archipelago.
