On November 5, 2018, nearly 40 survivors of the 2017 Las Vegas shooting tragedy traveled from California, Nevada and Utah for a free, all-inclusive cruise tour aboard the deluxe ms River Splendor along the Rhine River on Vantage's Heart of Germany cruise. The trip included international airfare, all meals and accommodations, and daily sightseeing tours in historic Bavarian cities such as Heidelberg, Bamberg, Wurzberg, Nuremberg and Regensberg where they enjoyed castles and palaces, shopped and tasted traditional German sausages and smoky beer (or Rauchbier), witnessed a cuckoo clock making demonstration, visited beautiful Gothic cathedrals and learned about Germany's WWII history. Most importantly, our Vantage heroes were given the opportunity to heal and bond with one another during what many survivors called "a trip of a lifetime."
